GoodFishTank is a guide to freshwater tropical fish tanks for beginners and intermediate keepers, focused on tanks from 5 to 40 gallons: cycling, water chemistry, common problems, easy plants and small, popular fish, shrimp and snails.
Who writes it
Manel Vadillo. Manel keeps freshwater fish at home and has always been curious about what makes one tank thrive while another struggles. GoodFishTank is where Manel checks each answer against the research before writing it down.
What makes it different
- Every number links to its source: extension services, government agencies, veterinary references and peer-reviewed papers.
- Calculators show the formula they use, so you can check the math.
- We say when something is an estimate or our own inference, not a measured fact.
